In May 2020, technical and marketing personnel of Suzhou ZhongKe Medical Device Industry Development Co., Ltd., (a holding company of Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences), went to the State Key Laboratory of Genetic Resources and Evolution of Kunming Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences to deliver domestic laser confocal microscopes to users.
After three days of on-site product installation and training, the product has been in the hands of users for nearly two months. "We turn on and use it almost every day, and it has become one of the most frequently used instruments in our laboratory. The CASLIGHT laser confocal product equipped in the laboratory eliminates the need for us to wait for appointments on public platforms, time constraints, and inability to flexibly arrange experiments and other trouble. Now that we have a new experimental program, and we can start experiments immediately by using Confocal to detect at any time, and obtain satisfactory results, which greatly improves our scientific research efficiency." Teacher Liu from the Kunming Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, commented on the "CASLIGHT" laser confocal products.
The delivery of the laser scanning confocal microscope was the first commercial sales of this kind of microscope after our institute has officially passed the acceptance of the national major scientific research equipment development project "super-resolution microscopy optics core components and system development" on December 26, 2018.
